35th EVS35 China Session

On June 14, the 35th World Electric Vehicle Conference China Session (EVS35 China Session) was held online. The sub-venue is co-sponsored by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), the European Electric Vehicle Association (AVERE) and the China Electro technical Society (CES), and co-organized by the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center, BYD Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. and the National Engineering Research Center for Electric Vehicles. Yang Qingxin, chairman of the China Electro technical Society and chairman of the conference, Chen Qingquan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, chairman of the conference, and professor of the University of Hong Kong, and Mr. Espen Hauge, chairman of the World Electric Vehicle Association, the European Electric Vehicle Association, and the Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Professor Cai Wei of Harbin University of Science and Technology, Professor Qu Ronghai of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Yuan Yiqing of National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center, Chairman Gong Jun of Electric Vehicle Electric Drive System Whole Industry Chain Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center Chip Ms. Lei Lili, chief test engineer, Zhai Zhen, manager of BYD Automotive Engineering Research Institute, Zhu Jinda, researcher of NARI Group Co., Ltd., He Hongwen, professor of School of Machinery and Vehicles, Beijing Institute of Technology, Wang Lifang, researcher of Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tsinghua University Vehicle and Transportation Xu Liangfei, associate professor of the school, gave keynote speeches on electric drive technology, Lithium batteries, power converter, energy storage system (ESS UNIT), electronic control composite systems, electric power transmission technology, vehicle-scale chip testing, fast charging solutions, and proton exchange membrane fuel cells.

The World Electric Vehicle Conference (EVS) is praised by the industry as the Olympic Games in the field of new energy vehicles. The 35th World Electric Vehicle Conference (EVS35) was held in Oslo, Norway from June 11 to 15. The number of new energy vehicles of Chinese brands on display this time is the largest ever.

EVS35 (The 35th World Electric Vehicle Conference) China branch is authorized by the China Electric Car charge Society to host after the consultation of the World Electric Vehicle Association and the European Electric Vehicle Association. This is the first time that a sub-venue has been set up outside the host country since the inception of the World Electric Vehicle Conference. A total of 16 technical papers were collected from Beijing Jiaotong University, Shanghai Geneng Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., Tongji University, Chang'an University, Harbin University of Science and Technology and other related units. Papers are submitted through the channel of the China branch venue specially set up on the official website of the 35th World Electric Vehicle Conference.
